In Room 4 we have been learning about safe walking this week with Constable Dekker.
We have learnt how to cross the road safely and we must listen for traffic and look both ways. We cross on over the road on the zebra crossing.
We also learnt how to walk on footpath safely. We have to walk on the house side because the other sometimes has no footpath and we must look out for sneaky driveways because there could be some cars coming out really fast and might hit you. When you cross the road it should be good to have a grown up or your mum or dad. If there is no crossing you should look both ways and wait for the cars to stop and have a parent or go and look for a crossing just be to be extra safe.
